Another trick I recently ran across is to ensure that you aren’t telling people what plugins you’re using… take a look at yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/ to see what I mean. It can be locked down by simply placing an index.html file in there – or by your Cpanel’s “index manager”

It’s really nice to be able to see which of the plugins need an update… On the negative side, I’m not too comfortable with the switch from technorati to google’s blogsearch for the incoming links. Maybe it’s better but for sure is not as fast to see who is linking to you.
