fatigue as in more played out? not necessarily if so every person would join each one, but its the community that makes it different and fatigue, my own 2 cents

I have a few networks that I'm quite active in, I have accounts with the others but how can one keep up to it all.

I use to enjoy visiting a few forums but I haven't been to them in ages...

I'm certain most people are also trying to run some sort of blog or home business, who has time??

I think web 2.0 & social networking are great, but you really need to pick your venue and stick to it.

@msdanielle: Glad I am not the only one who google's my own name! btw, what you experienced is not from old age but rather, it's one of the common symptoms of Web2FS ;)

Unfortunately that is what happens when you try to do it all! There are only so many hours in a day and so there are only so many things that we can do. You have to be smart in the things that you take on to do. Maybe some time management might help, but in reality, we may set schedules but how many of us actually stay on track. We just have to narrow down those things that work best for us and not worry about the rest. We are not superhuman and we cannot do it all.

To Your Success!

P.S. I wondered if you guys have read these FREE reports yet. It talks about the DISASTER on the web 2.0 technology. You can download it at:

Definitely! We only started to venture into the Web2.0 world a couple month ago and we are already SOOOO tired (see also our latest posts at The Cat Realm).
We had to start a paper file folder to keep track and still can't...
Just this morning we started a new blog about Compulsive Blogging:
http://compulsivebloggersanonymous.blogspot.com/
So far it hasn't helped. We are soooo tired....

There's something else related to Web 2.0. that I'm already tired of. That's the use of video by IM gurus to try to sell their latest 'must buy' product. With a sales letter you can quickly 'skim and bin' in seconds, but with a video you're expected to sit and watch for 5 minutes to find out what it's all about. No thanks! I've better things to do.

Humanity has survived for so long because of their ability to form large social groupings beyond blood relations. As humanity continues to evolve in this realm we call the internet, the need to feel constantly connected to humanity yet still allowing the user to stay anonymous enough to exit instantly is perhaps the reason why the social networking clubs are so addictive.
