Yes, I have the same issue. I have XP installed then reformatted and installed Vista 32bit Ultimate and when I had XP installed Speedfan shows Hard Drive temp without any issues. Vista is being stupid. I installed Speedfan as administrator and I launched Speedfan as Administrator and still no Hard Drive Temp Readings. I'm furious and thinking about ditching Vista and Going back to XP because of this...Every Hard Drive Program I found, Vista can't seem to get along with. Microsoft Really Screwed Up on Vista and Windows 7 will probably be worst... I love XP and so does most of the people that have grown to its simplicity in the last 10 YEARS. The best will never rest! STICK WITH XP! at least until Microsoft Stops being stupid and designs an O/S that functions properly.

I have a dual boot system, Vista 64 and XP. Speedfan works fine on XP, but not on Vista, even run as administrator.

AJ, have you followed the above instructions and remembered to choose "Run as administrator" when launching SpeedFan? It's working well here on multiple Vista systems.
