web designer, one of the benefits of buying organic foods is the better taste of certain fruits & veggies. To get the freshest groceries, you should look to purchase local organic products if possible. This would give you the best produce as they do not spend long weeks or months in storage or shipping containers before making it to your dinner table. Although a product may be organic, it won’t taste as good if it wasn’t grown locally. Hopefully, there is a local company in the UK that can offer you these types of products delivered to your door?

Your posting was very interesting. The trade show you attended sounds like a show i should visit one day. I am strong believer organic and health foods will be a long term trend. Consumers are becoming more health conscious and are more willing to spend more money for quality foods prepared with healthy ingredients. Within the US restaurant industry, the fast casual market is the fastest growing segment. Consumers are “trading up” from traditional fast food and likewise you can slowly see Canadians following. In major cities across Canada, organic and all natural is becoming more popular on restaurant menus. One of my favorite grocery shopping places is Whole Foods Market which is quite amazing just to see. Those who have never been in there, you will notice there is a signifcant number of consumers willing to spend several dollars more on all natural and organic food.
